Man, this baby thing is already starting to dominate my life. I’m ALWAYS tired, and most of the time I look flat out exhausted! It seems like all I’m doing is working (although way less than usual), eating or sleeping.
Since Brandon and I had been talking about having a baby for awhile, we’d had a lot of time to think about how we’d break the happy news our parents. This baby will be the first grandchild on both sides of the family, so we knew the announcement needed to be special.
As soon as the [...]
One more hurdle checked off the list.. Well not officially, but it looks like our house will pass inspection. We will find out monday or tuesday when we get the checklist.
Now we are packing and getting living situation setup for the week we don’t have a house. “between closing ours, and closing on the house [...]

As always, I take far far to long to post on this blog, but I’ll try to fill you in.

We’ve spent time discussing ways to increase membership, setup great programs and discussing successful ADDY events. But for [...]
Tomorrow morning is my first Heartland Visioning Task Force meeting. I am very proud to be part of the group, and look forward to the opportunity to directly contribute in the shaping of Topeka’s future. I consider being on the Task Force a great responsibility, so I’ve prepared myself in every way I thought possible.
I’ve [...]
Well, we’ve found our dream house. It’s got everything that we’re looking for and more, and it’s in our price range and a good neighborhood! Unfortunately, yet again we’re going to be engaging in a bidding war.
That’s right. We must have excellent taste, because no sooner had we decided that we’d make an offer on [...]
Well, Brandon and I are back out on the house hunting trail this weekend. This time with the help of our Realtor, Jeremiah Huyett from Kellerman Real Estate.
We got started Thursday right after I got off work looking at 7 different places. By the time 8:45 rolled around, we’d found two places that we’re pretty [...]
